Illumination 10 of Sheikh Ansari's life:
Sheikh Ansari (May Allah exalt his status) and respect to Sadat:
Inattentive to temptations of the unwise, I chose God.
It is well known that for a long time Sheikh had to go to his lessons at a specific time, but would reach later, and the purpose of this is not that he would begin his lessons later or finish it soon; no, Sheikh's method was that he arrived about an hour before the lesson began He sat with extreme humility because he thought someone might have a question and be ashamed of him to ask.
This was why he presented himself as a disciple. In other words, he wanted to show them that he was the same as them and would hence arrive a few minutes later in such a manner.
When they inquired from his holiness about why he came later than before, he said: A Child of a Sayyid (Descendant of the Prophet) from Dezfool is my guest.
They asked: Does he live in your house?
He said: No, he came from Dezfool and asked me to teach him Arabic Grammar of Mir (Fundamentals of Arabic Lessons). I did not dare to assign it to anyone else to teach this lesson because it was below their dignity to start this elementary lesson.
Because the son of Fatimah (SA) wanted to learn this lesson, I accepted to teach this lesson myself.
And however much I searched for time, I did not find time except before I came to teach, and that is the reason why I arrive a few minutes late!
Great Scientist, Divine Philosopher, Ostad Mousavi:
We have to know that such lessons and teaching them for a person such as Sheikh Ansari, If they were not insulting, were surely not at his level.
However, because Sheikh considered the child of the Sayyid to be exalted , he gave in to all temptations.
Therefore, those who seek the truth and reality are inattentive to the temptations of others and any obstacles, and are not afraid, because they consider themselves to be wealthy enough not to lose their dignity with their temptations.
Furthermore, it shows that
this is steadfastness along the path of God and nothing else!
