Quranic
and Itrat Cultural Institute, Hikmatun Safiah
With
Official Permit from Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance
In the Name of God
After many continuous years of teaching by divine
philosopher, Ostad Seyyed Ali Mousavi, on scientific and philosophic
fundamentals and explanation of Mulla Sadra’s book, Asfar Arbaeh (The Four
Journeys) and Ostad’s speeches in the holy month of Ramadan and during Muharram
and Safar under Mulla Mosen Fiez Kashani’s Safi Interpretation and referring to
other important interpretation sources, Ostad’s disciples decided to establish
a Quranic and Itrat institute with official permit from the Ministry of Culture
and Islamic Guidance in order to better transfer Ostad’s viewpoints and
scientific and theosophical research methods to the next generations.
Ostad concentrates on philosophical and scientific
subjects; however, the heart of his words reveal his full understanding of the
verses of the Holy Quran and narrations of the Infallible Imams, the main
result of which is the strengthening of religious, moral and gnostic bases of
his students scientifically.
It needs to be mentioned that the Institute building was
bought by one of Ostad’s male disciples with the favor of God and that of our
Mawla (May Allah hasten his reappearance), the son of Imam Hassan Askari (AS),
so that God-willing, we may do a little justice to Ostad’s lessons in this
haven.
This Institute officially started its activities on 22nd July,
2013 with a permit of general teaching and cultural affairs. One year later,
with extension of the permit on 23rd August, 2014, the institute continued its
activities with the permit of professional teaching of the Holy Quran. As the
main goal of this group is printing and publication of Ostad’s works, the
subject of publication of Ostad’s works was added to the institute activities
on 5 June, 2015 and Ostad Mousavi Publication officially started its
activities. We hope that according to strict recommendations of Ostad during his
teaching years, “The main activities of students should be based on spirituality and approval of Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance) and not merely
be superficially according to Quranic teachings.”
From among about 250 works which are the result of teachings
and speeches of divine philosopher, Ostad Seyyed Ali Mousavi, until now from the
collection of his speeches in Ramadan 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000, the following
books have been printed:
‘Shihabun Thaqib’
(a book containing explanation of some verses of the holy Surah Isra, research
on the Peripatetic School, and the life of our Mawla, Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS).);
‘Sirajun Munir’ (explanation of some verses of the holy Surah Anfal and the greatness
of Prophet Muhammad - PBUH); ‘Kawkab Dorri’ (explanation of some verses of the
holy Surah Anfal and the magnificence of
our infallible wise lady Fatima Zahra - SA); ‘Nuqtatul Hidayah’ (Explanation of some verses of the holy Surah Hud and
the scientific lives of Pythagoras and Hippocrates)
Also under explanation of Mulla Sadra’a book, Asfar (Four
Intellectual Journeys), the book ‘Divine Spiritual Soul’ consisting of researches
about the subject of soul on volume eight of Mulla Sadra’s book, Asfar has been
published in four volumes. God willing in the near future the book ‘Sprit’ consisting
of Ostad’s teachings under volume eight of Asfar will be publically published.
Ostad’s specific point of view is in the realm of
understanding the realities of the verses of the Holy Quran is such that he
believes that some subjects such as reciting the Holy Quran fluently, intonation,
and religious Islamic provisions should have been solved for the young
generation. Just as clean and fresh air is being inhaled in each moment,
science and new illuminations should be used in the realm of science. As with
the passing of time, new intercontinental and oceanic liners have been invented
or scientists can make new discoveries in the realm of elements and the world
within, the disciples of this school should be free from any worries and
complications.
The lessons and speeches which are taught in the name of
Quran or classes in Quranic institutes should work so well scientifically that
academic centers and universities kneel down in front of them.
Present activities of the Institute with the supervision
of Ostad Seyyed Ali Mousavi are based on scientific and philosophical
fundamentals through researching of the Holy Quran’s bases. However, until now
for strengthening the scientific bases of students and others, the activities
of the Institute have been as follows:
